A Title Search is a report on a property stating all encumbrances registered on the property, for example mortgages, easements and caveats – all of which a homebuyer may inherit once the deal is closed. It is imperative, therefore, that purchasers be aware of what is registered on the property prior to closing. We help home buyers gain peace of mind.
We, at Canaterra, feel it is important to give home seekers tools to make informed choices when buying a property. By partnering with Dye & Durham, we are able offer homebuyers the opportunity to have a Title Search conducted prior to their making an offer, or making a Title Search a condition in the offer. Unlike undertaking this search just days before the deal closes, these options allow the purchasers time to react in the event that problems are found in the Search.

Costs are reasonable - mostly all Searches are under $100.00 - so little for peace of mind!
Our Mobile site canaterra.mobi is a simplified version of the Classic site and works well on all mobile phones, including older models.
Our Classic site pushes listing information to our Mobile site, our iPhone App (available on the App Store) and to our texting feature. Find property information on the go quickly! For more information click on the My Mobile/PDA link immediately above the property search section. Please check with your mobile carrier for their fee schedule as standard data charges may apply.
Canaterra is designed to be a National Real Estate Listing Serviceâ„¢; a place for potential customers to easily locate Developers and Builders websites and to provide a listing service for those Builders without websites. We are not replacing the need for Builders & Developers to showcase their projects on their own websites.
Using your smartphone, netbook, iPhone, iPod touch, PDA or computer (with mobile stick) log into Canaterra.mobi or use your iPhone (iPod touch users need wifi access) choose the Province, Region & City then click Quick Search, this will take you to the city map - the icons will help you find the development - click on them to enlarge a bubble with a thumbnail description, photo and contact information.
iPhone and iPod touch users can download the free Canaterra iPhone app available on the App Store.
If you remember the first few letters of the name of the property, street name, Agent or Builders name or listing number use the Keyword Search.
If you are on your mobile phone, a click on the phone number and it will be auto-dialled for you. If your mobile phone has email capabilities, a click on the email address will send an inquiry. A click on any of the logos will take you directly to the Developer/Builder or Agent's website - be mindful of your carrier's fees. The map bubble will also show Open House times and dates, as well as any Notices for the property.
Yes, in the menu line at the very top of the page, click on Receive New Listings and complete the contact information - you'll be automatically notified by email.
Good question! We need to keep the file sizes of the photos small enough to be pushed to our Mobile website and iPhone app. This is a compromise in order to bring you the property information on the go and to help you keep your phone carriers' fees low.
